Paris Salon May 17

€180.00
sold out

May 17, 2025 5 pm - The Paris Salon Returns to the most epic location yet. A palace near Versailles. Only 70 tickets available.

Anywhere you step into the streets of Paris, the traces of the Belle Époque era have left it’s mark. Cirque d’Hiver, Maxim’s, Moulin Rouge, La Perouse. La Paiva, Mata Hari, Colette.  The places at the end of the 19th century where a modern woman appeared, a woman who was free from past social constraints, experimental in her lifestyle, and learned to reinvent herself. These libertine women, entertainers, courtesans, artists and poets hosted salons and theatrical productions where creative society came to exchange and inspire their creativity. These old Parisian haunts is what inspired this shibari salon, a desire to bring back a tradition of sharing music, theater and dance in a thoughtfully curated and intimate way.

“Paris Salon will be a celebration of beauty and connection in the practice of rope. It touched me very deeply, to see shibari fostering such meaningful connections between like minded people. I aspire that rope will be the powerfully binding thread between you all next evening.” - Marie Sauvage

Champagne and pastries will be served.

After the performances, you are welcome to stay, express yourselves, make new connections, bring your own ropes. Respect of others consent to interact with you must be held in the highest regard. It is a small and intimate space, we trust everyone invited will maintain the sacredness of the evening by being present in their best light. Be very mindful about photography and always ask for consent.

In regards of dress code, we would appreciate if you express your creativity in spirit of the evening- no need for historical accuracy, we prefer personal interpretation, it’s just a way to express your inner self and participate in the our evening beyond spectating.

A recommended address if you need any last minute clothing rentals.
